Licenses

Payments: All hunts are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. A 50% deposit of total hunt costs is required to secure the booking of your hunt. The remainder must be paid upon arrival in camp. Credit cards are accepted for deposits only and a 3.5% convenience fee will be incurred. Other payment methods accepted in CASH, BANK CHECKS OR TRAVELER’S CHECK. Personal checks will only be accepted for deposits. Once we receive your deposit, you will be sent your signed hunt contract with signature and confirmation dates, suggested gear list, suggested travel arrangements, and any other updated or pertinent information. If you choose to cancel your hunt, we will refund your deposit only upon filling your vacancy with another hunter. Due to the low number of hunters allowed on the ranches, if we are unable to fill your vacancy, your deposit will be forfeited or carried over to future years. If for some unexpected reason, we are unable to accommodate your hunt; your deposit will be returned to you in its entirety.

Licenses: NOTE: All deer licenses, rifle pronghorn, 1st and 4th season elk and muzzleloader elk are done by draw only, and the deadline for applications is the first week of April. Anyone born on or after January 1, 1949, must have completed an approved hunter education course or bow-hunter education course (for archery licenses) sanctioned by a state or province before applying for or purchasing a license. Archery and regular rifle season licenses may be purchased over the counter anytime up to midnight the day before the season begins. All Cross Mountain Outfitters clients hunting our Ranching for Wildlife locations will have a guaranteed license.
