We are very fortunate to be adding North Mountain Ranch as another great option for our clients. We will operate out of two lodges at this location which will allow less hunting pressure in the middle of the ranch. This ranch will allow us to offer premium archery hunts for bugling bulls and some great rifle hunting opportunities in October & November.
Additionally, we will offer limited mule deer hunts for 170-190 class mule deer along with some elk & deer combination hunts.
North Mountain Ranch is located in GMU 70 in SW Colorado and will allow us access to over 14,000 acres of private land with additional leases. GMU 70 is a draw unit for archery, 1st rifle, and 4th rifle elk with very high draw odds as private land-only licenses are available through the draw system. This ranch averages about 8,500 ft. elevation with a beautiful combination of grass-covered hills and valleys mixed with lush groves of aspen intermixed with occasional spruce trees, patches of Gamble Oak, sage, and scattered pinon pine. This private land operation is conducted in conjunction with the Colorado State Land Board through the year 2031.
